DSO Summer

Live music, warm summer air, dancing, yoga, and community—summer at the DSO can't be beat! Check back here later in the season for updates on 2023 summer programming.

Summer Outdoors in Sosnick Courtyard

Enjoy music by special guest artists from Detroit and beyond, the bliss of warm summer air, and the sense of community that comes from enjoying live music with others.

Ticket reservations are required for all events. Buy tickets online or call the DSO Box Office at 313.576.5111 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).   

About Sosnick Courtyard

The DSO’s Sosnick Courtyard is an open, flexible seating venue off of Parson’s Way serving as a dynamic, innovative, open-air “fourth stage” at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center that strives to bring together diverse communities in a highly collaborative and inclusive performing arts and green space. Audience members have the option to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets in a first-come-first-served open seating area or reserve VIP picnic tables. Enjoy a cold beverage of your choice from our outdoor bar and an evening of live music under the stars.
