Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony extols victory through hardship and was famously performed during the Siege of Leningrad, even as bombs began to fall nearby. Kahchun Wong makes his DSO debut conducting this mighty work, and Interim Concertmaster Kimberly Kaloyanides Kennedy performs Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
