This weekend’s William Davidson Neighborhood Concert Series performances are cancelled

Detroit, (January 7, 2022) – The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) today announced the cancellation of its remaining three performances in this weekend’s William Davidson Neighborhood Concert Series due to the orchestra's quarantine policy after a musician tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The performances, with conductor, violinist, and countertenor Dmitry Sinkovsky, were set to take place on Friday, January 7 at Plymouth First United Methodist Church in Plymouth; Saturday, January 8 at Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield Hills; and Sunday, January 9 at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Grosse Pointe.

This weekend’s PNC Pops program, The Music of Billy Joel featuring Michael Cavanaugh, will take place as scheduled at Orchestra Hall in Detroit.
