Detroit, (March 4, 2022) – The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) today announced the cancellation of the Wu-Tang Clan x DSO: Film & Concert Experience performances at Orchestra Hall. Originally scheduled for Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18, 2022, the performances have been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.
The DSO navigated all possible avenues to bring these performances to life, but they were unfortunately not possible at this time. Making these concerts happen remains a priority for the DSO, RZA, and Wu-Tang Clan, and parties involved are working hard to identify future dates that will allow the performances to occur as intended.
The DSO will be issuing refunds for tickets and parking purchased for these performances. All ticket holders will need to contact the Box Office before July 31, 2022 to have the cost of their tickets and parking refunded to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Alternatively, they may choose to donate tickets or transfer them to a gift certificate.
