CANCELLED: Tonight's Bignamini & Branford concert has been cancelled (Friday, November 12 at 8 p.m.)

Detroit, (November 12, 2021) – The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) today announced that tonight’s concert, Bignamini & Branford, has been cancelled due to an unexpected power outage at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center that took place overnight. Though power has since been restored, tonight’s performance is being changed to an Open Rehearsal to replace this morning’s rehearsal, which was cancelled due to the outage.

The Bignamini & Branford concerts on Saturday, November 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 14 at 3 p.m. will proceed as planned.

Ticket holders for tonight’s concert are invited to attend the Open Rehearsal that will begin at 8 p.m. They will also be notified by email with other options for exchanges and returns, including exchanging for the Saturday or Sunday Bignamini & Branford concert or into a future DSO performance.

Ticketholders with questions can contact the Box Office at tickets@dso.org or 313.576.5111.
