The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is proud to kick off another exciting season of performances and programming!

The Opening Night Gala will be an unforgettable evening featuring a concert by your Detroit Symphony Orchestra and special guest Branford Marsalis, conducted by Music Director Jader Bignamini!  There will be red carpet arrivals and photos, and all levels of the William Davidson Atrium will be activated with a pre-concert reception for concert attendees.  In addition, for our gala supporters, a formal dinner will follow this once-in-a-lifetime performance in the Peter D. and Julie F. Cummings Cube.

Evening Schedule

5:00pm: Red carpet arrivals & Pre-concert reception (open to all concert and gala attendees)
William Davidson Atrium (All levels, 1-3)

7:00pm: Concert with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and special guest, Branford Marsalis
Orchestra Hall
