Middle School Honor Days

NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!

2025 Honor Days

Middle School Honor Band—5/6/7th Grade: March 10th, 2025
Middle School Honor Band—8th Grade: March 17th, 2025
Middle School Honor Orchestra—April 7th, 2025

We invite private lesson instructors and band and orchestra directors to nominate their middle school students for this one-day event at the DSO! Students will rehearse all day at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Center with a culminating concert at 6:30pm on Orchestra Hall stage.

The deadline to nominate students for MSHD is Monday, December 2nd. A roster of accepted students, including registration information, will be emailed to nominating teachers and directors a few weeks after the nomination period concludes.
