Detroit Harmony has now distributed 2,000 instruments to Detroit students. Next step? Learn to play them! The Detroit Harmony mobile lesson program is up and running with 12 teaching artists teaching in 8 different locations across the city. New this school year, mobile lessons bring the Detroit Harmony mission full circle, matching 44 students with teaching artists—including DSO musicians Cole (cello) and Harper Randolph (African American Orchestra Fellow, viola)—to deepen their educational journeys through private lessons.
