Coming Soon: The DSO’s first ever recording with Music Director Jader Bignamini! And now you can be the first to hear it and receive a limited-edition vinyl pressing by joining the orchestra’s new Gold Record Collective. Last December, the DSO and Jader Wynton Marsalis’s Blues Symphony, an ode to the power of blues and the scope of America’s musical heritage. The record label Pentatone will be releasing this album in early 2025.
The DSO is partnering with Third Man Records to press a limited-edition vinyl of the Blues Symphony, releasing in February of 2025.
Recording projects and record releases are vital in showcasing the DSO’s musical excellence nationally and internationally. Lead funders of this project will be named Founders of the Gold Record Collective. Please join us in celebrating Jader’s first recording with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra!
