Gold Record Collective
The Gold Record Collective is a donor society that fuels the DSO’s artistic journey, supporting landmark recordings such as Blues Symphony and establishing the DSO’s reputation on the global stage.
This incredible support has allowed for the DSO’s first recording with Music Director Jader Bignamini—Wynton Marsalis’s Blues Symphony, an ode to the power of the blues and the scope of America’s musical heritage.
The album was released on March 14 on the Pentatone label, and we are proud to partner with Third Man Records for the limited-edition vinyl pressing.
Recording projects and record releases are vital in showcasing the DSO’s musical excellence nationally and internationally. Lead funders of this project will be named Founders of the Gold Record Collective. Please join us in celebrating Jader’s first recording with the DSO!
