Donation Drives

Join us in supporting Disaster Relief at Work & Gleaners

For more than a decade, DSO staff, musicians, CYE families, ushers, and governance have participated in Day of Service to give back to our beautiful city of Detroit. This year, we invite you to join us in supporting two partners, Disaster Relief at Work and Gleaners.

We are running a virtual donation drive for each organization:

• Disaster Relief at Work: DSO staff and musicians will compile “Family Bath Buckets” full of items to help families impacted by storms/tornados get back on their feet. We need your help to collect the needed items!

     • Donate via our Amazon wish list by 5/20.

     • Our must-have items are towels, washcloths, and toilet paper.

• Gleaners: In honor of Victoria Westman, a friend and coworker who was passionate about food insecurity and volunteered with Gleaner’s on her own time, the DSO is hosting a virtual food drive.

     • Donate via our virtual drive to aide Gleaner’s in distributing meals to hundreds of local partners.

As a thank you for your support, those who donate will receive a special BOGO deal, valid for select upcoming concerts. Send proof of donation to chall@dso.org to receive this offer.
