Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center
3711 Woodward Avenue
Detroit, MI 48201
The Max is located in Midtown Detroit, on Woodward Avenue one block north of Mack Avenue/MLK Boulevard.
The DSO Parking Deck is located at 81 Parsons Street. Self-parking in the garage costs $10 for most concerts;* we take both cash and credit cards. Handicapped parking is available on the first and second floors of the garage. Note that handicapped parking spaces go quickly, so we recommend arriving early!
Valet parking is also available for most concerts, starting at $14.* The valet parking drop-off is located on Parsons Street across from St. Patrick Parish. Please note that valet parking is not available for Friday morning Coffee Concerts.
*Parking prices may increase at special events
Metered street parking is available on Cass Avenue and several cross streets near The Max. There are pay stations on every block of each metered parking zone, and you can also pay using the Park Detroit website or app.
Nearby parking garages not operated by the DSO include Wayne State University Structure #7 (at John R and Mack, adjacent to Whole Foods Market) and Woodward Gardens (at Woodward and St. Alexandrine, adjacent to Great Lakes Coffee).
Because the QLine tracks occupy the traffic lane closest to the sidewalk in front of The Max, drop-off and pick-up is not permitted on Woodward Avenue. Please use the designated drop-off point on Selden Street between Woodward and Cass; the best address to search for the drop-off point is 20 Selden Street. This is also the preferred address to use for rideshare arrivals and departures.
Coming from TBD? Get a ride and skip the parking hassle with shuttle bus service to Friday morning Coffee Concerts for $15. Call 313.576.5111 for more information or view the bus transportation order form by clicking here.
