The Music Continues
DSO Digital Concerts have already received wide-spread recognition and critical acclaim for their incredible variety of music from a diverse collection of composers, featuring DSO musicians, our new Music Director Jader Bignamini, and visits from guest artists and conductors.
And it only gets better in the new year. Highlights include:
- Chamber orchestra and chamber ensemble music by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and more, with an extended stage allowing us to explore new and expanded repertoire.
- Our annual Classical Roots Celebration highlighting African American contributions to classical music, plus exciting new music by Tania Leon, Daniel Bernard Roumain, Jennifer Higdon, and Veronika Krausas.
- Special guests, including Wynton Marsalis, Midori, and Leonard Slatkin, and the return of our Music Director, Jader Bignamini.
- PNC Pops concerts including Jeff Tyzik leading a celebration of Oscar-winning film music, and Broadway showstoppers, plus Family Series concerts including Peter and the Wolf, and more.
