Jazz is part of Detroit’s musical DNA, and the Paradise Jazz Series is a cornerstone of live jazz in Detroit, presented on the main stage at Orchestra Hall. As one of the few major US orchestras to present a full jazz series in its main hall, the DSO continues a tradition rooted in the city’s cultural fabric. From iconic voices to boundary-pushing artists, each performance carries the rhythm, soul, and improvisational spirit that made Detroit a musical force.
