The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is proud to kick off another exciting season of performances and programming, lead by Music Director Jader Bignamini. Superstar tenor Juan Diego Flórez will captivate with his unmatched virtuosity, elegance, and irresistible charm in a dazzling program of operatic arias and songs. Opera News aptly described his voice as "the engine in a Porsche 911"—a finely tuned marvel of artistry and power. Experience the thrill of world-class performance in an unforgettable evening!

Please note that this is a concert-only event. For an extended evening including a private reception, formal dinner, and afterparty, please purchase separately. All concert guests are invited to attend a pre-concert reception beginning at 5:00pm. See the full evening schedule by clicking READ MORE below.
