Join us in The Cube for a special meet and greet, book signing, conversation, and Q&A led by Cecilia Sharpe and performance by a Detroit Student String Ensemble in celebration of author, musician, and educator Brendan Slocumb's latest release Symphony of Secrets.
This event is a collaboration with Detroit's own Source Booksellers, who will be present with copies of the book for sale during the event.

About the Author
Brendan Nicholaus Slocumb was raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina and holds a degree in music education (with concentrations in Violin and viola) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. For more than twenty years he has been a public and private school music educator and has performed with orchestras throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. He lives in Washington D.C.
