The bright young musicians of NYO Jazz hail from across the United States and are "astonishing—not just technically, but stylistically" (The Telegraph). Hear the future of jazz music this summer as this ensemble embarks on its debut tour of the United States with a program that showcases the diversity and scope of the genre—including a newly commissioned piece by Darcy James Argue and a special appearance by vocalist Jazzmeia Horn, performing music from her Grammy-nominated album Dear Love. Trumpeter Sean Jones returns to lead the group as artistic director and soloist.
