Born in Seoul, Korea, Jee-Won Oh has performed internationally as soloist and chamber musician, having performed in Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Far East, South America and throughout the United States. Her concert schedules have taken her to musical centers worldwide including solo and chamber music performances at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Salzburg Mozarteum, de Doelen in Rotterdam, Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Sala Cecília Meireles in Rio de Janeiro and at Kumho Art Hall in Seoul.

In the United States, Oh has appeared on the Great Performer’s Series at Lincoln Center, Ravinia’s Rising Stars Series, at the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Merkin Hall, Barge Music, National Gallery of Art and Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She has performed in the cities of Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, St. Paul and Washington, DC. Oh has also appeared in numerous music festivals including the Ernen Musikdorf in Switzerland, San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Park City International Music Festival, Sitka Music Festival and Mammoth Lakes Music Festival.

Oh regularly collaborated with cellist Mark Kosower and appeared in concert with him worldwide. They also recorded works by Richard Strauss, Max Reger and Eberhard Klemmstein in Germany for the Ambitus label which was released in spring 2018. Oh can also be heard on two albums for Naxos including the complete works of Alberto Ginastera for cello and piano and a recording of Hungarian music.

Oh was the studio pianist and assistant to the famed cellist Janos Starker for five years and was an associate instructor of piano at Indiana University from 1994-98. She also received her master’s degree in piano performance from Indiana University where she studied with György Sebök and Shigeo Neriki. Oh received her bachelor’s degree from Han Yang University in Seoul where she was the recipient of a Young Chang Piano Foundation scholarship.
