Concert Description

Byron Stripling and Carmen Bradford's chemistry lights up the stage for a journey through the most famous duets and solos recorded by two of jazz's greatest legends, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. From “Love Is Here to Stay” and “What a Wonderful World” to highlights from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, they recreate one of the most memorable collaborations in music history in celebration of Ella’s 100th birthday.

This concert is part of the PNC Pops Series featuring the Detroit Symphony Orchestra led by Conductor Jeff Tyzik.
