Concert Description

Each symphony Tchaikovsky composed brought with it ever more emotional intensity. His final symphony, “Pathétique,” was his most personal expression, containing a meaning he kept secret to his grave. Leonard Slatkin leads Tchaikovsky’s Sixth Symphony along with world premieres from two rising American composers.

ConcerTalk 5/26 at 7 PM & 5/27 at 2 PM: Get the most out of each Classical concert with informal presentations in Orchestra Hall one hour before the performance begins.
