Sir Andrew Davis, conductor  Bio

Sir Andrew Davis has served as music director and principal conductor of Lyric Opera of Chicago since 2000. Maestro Davis is conductor laureate of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, conductor laureate of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and the former music director of Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Sir Andrew serves as artistic advisor to the Besançon International Music Festival and is president of the jury for the festival’s 52nd International Competition for Young Conductors. Maestro Davis also has a massive discography on the Chandos, Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, Warner Classics International, Capriccio, EMI, and CBS labels, among others. Andrew von Oeyen, piano   Bio

Since his debut at age 16 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Esa-Pekka Salonen, Andrew von Oeyen has performed to critical acclaim in recital and orchestral appearances around the world. Commanding an extensive and diverse repertoire, Mr. von Oeyen has performed the major concertos of the piano literature with prominent ensembles such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Saint Louis Symphony, and Seattle Symphony among many others. Mr. von Oeyen has recorded for EMI Classics and is an alumnus of Columbia University and The Juilliard School.
