Israeli-born cellist and contemporary artist Maya Beiser crosses cultural borders in "Desert Sorrows" — a world premiere concerto by Arab American composer Mohammed Fairouz. Leonard Slatkin leads Mozart's "Prague" Symphony and two serenades showcasing the breathtaking virtuosity of the DSO's strings and winds.
This performance will also be held Thursday, January 14 and Friday, January 15 at other locations.
