Concert Description

Tango, tap, and ballroom dancers electrify this celebration of the art of dance that will dazzle the eye and the ear! This performance has so much energy even the legs of your seats will be moving!

Argentine Tango Detroit and City Style Tango will be @ the Max to teach a tango class in the Atrium before the performance on the below dates and times — admission is FREE with your ticket to the concert!

Friday, September 26 from 6:30 - 7:15 pm
Saturday, September 27 from 6:30 - 7:15 pm
Sunday, September 28 from 1:30 - 2:15 pm

Beat the traffic and join us for preconcert happy hour! Domestic and Imported Beers, and House Wine and Champagne are all just $3, and Craft Cocktail Specials just $4!

Jeff Tyzik, conductor  Bio
In demand across North America as a pops conductor, Jeff Tyzik is the creative force behind the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Pops. He is also principal pops conductor of the Vancouver and Oregon symphony orchestras. He maintains a busy guest-conducting schedule with the Boston Pops, the New York Pops, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the Toronto Symphony, among others.
